RETAILERS:
New feature: your software now helps you move more product out the door.

Your Bridge registry software now has a redemption period feature. By default, your software sets this to 2 years. This redemption period text appears at the bottom of the registrant's registry page. The page automatically calculates and outputs the redemption period end date. For example, on the registry shown here, it says:

"Friends & family love seeing their gifts being enjoyed. We encourage you to redeem registry credit and gift cards from us within 2 years of your registry event date. Please redeem your credit by: November 3, 2020. PS - If you wish, please take pictures of items as you enjoy them and share the pictures with us. We'd love to see your experiences."

You will likely want to update your registry redemption period to 1 year. The shorter the time period, the quicker registrants will redeem credit and walk out the door with product.

Your Bridge software also has a new feature to send email reminders to registrants about the redemption period. You can find these settings on the Your Account Page. We recommend you turn the redemption period email feature on. (By default, it is not activated.)

When you turn it on, your Bridge software will email the registrant a reminder to use the registry credit 120, 90, 30, 7, and 1 day before the end of the redemption period. The redemption period is determined by the time period your store chooses (e.g. 1 year) and the registry event (e.g. wedding) date. The redemption period begins from the registry event date. If you set the redemption period to "Infinity," the software will never email the registrant to encourage using the credit.
