Remember Bon-Ton? The department store chain went out of bsuisnss because it had too much debt and didn’t invest in the web reports today’s WSJ. Its massive debt stymied its ability to compete online—aka build the website experience it needed. With too much debt and a weak omnichannel experiences, it sunk.

Does this remind you of stores that you know? I called a cookware store yesterday that told me it has given up on selling online. I predict this store will sink like Bon-Ton.
